![]() Test the TV using another source like a DVD player or Blu-ray Disc player.Make sure all A/V cable connections are correctly connected to the TV.If the TV has Headphone/Audio-Out settings in the Sound menu, set it to Audio-Out.Some TVs require the internal speakers or the center speaker setting to be off before audio can be sent out to a stereo receiver via the audio out jacks. Note: If the TV has audio output jacks and they are connected to a stereo system, then the speakers on the TV may be turned off. Verify the speakers are set to ON in the TV menu.Note: Some TVs allow the TV speakers to act as the center channel speaker when using a multi-channel receiver. Ensure the TV speakers are not set as the center speaker.If the TV has a Volume Offset setting in the audio menu, set it to a higher or maximum value.If the TV has a Simulated effect setting in the audio menu, turn it off.In this case, adjust or replace the source device. Note: If the source device is not set to stereo or is not capable of transmitting a stereo signal, sound may only come out of one speaker on the TV, and the volume will sound low. If the TV has an MTS setting in the audio menu, set it to MAIN or STEREO.Note: If the set-top box is connected using an Audio/Video (A/V) connection, make sure the A/V cables are connected securely to the appropriate video input on the TV.
